ISK Head Manager

As the manager of ISK, Alex has found his passion for organizing and communicating with many of his peers in order to create a student-led editorial organization. Outside of academics, Alex enjoys swimming and watching the NBA. He thought of ISK with the intention of bringing people together by working together to create an editorial.

Junwon has found an interest in filming and editing. He joined ISK as a Director of Advertising to inform, entertain, and share, as a platform like ISK is perfect for allowing student voices to be heard, opinions to be shared, and information to be announced.

Eric’s main interests currently lie in fine arts and graphic design. He is also interested in video production, including films and many more. Before joining ISK, he participated in a similar student-led newspaper club in his middle school years. He really enjoyed writing articles as well as designing the overall layout of the newspaper and the club website. When he first heard about ISK, he was really excited to have the opportunity to continue his passion, particularly in designing, and he believes that ISK will be a great platform for students who are passionate about both writing and designing.

Website Development Leader

Matthew’s main passions right now are making art and playing sports. He joined ISK as a website designer because he wanted to enjoy spreading the news to other students, especially with the website that his team has created.

Head of Writing

Jason is particularly interested in the issues of South Korea because of how easily you can notice them in daily life. As accessible as these problems are, the solutions are as readily available, which serves as motivation for him. For anything else, if it draws his curiosity out, it becomes his interest. He joined the ISK Times to shed light on the local, national, and international problems that he believes should be written and reported about. By being in ISK, he hopes to spark conversations between the writers and viewers for a movement forward for us, the international students, preparing to become a part of a society in which we did not have much say before.

Janghyun has always been an avid writer, and he especially loves to write about his many interests, from arts and entertainment to politics and society. He hopes that he can bring his love for writing to the pages of ISK as one of its Heads of Writing, delivering intriguing news updates as well as his own opinions on relevant subject matters to the community.

Outreach Director

Seungji has always been fascinated by the endless possibilities that can stem from a single idea, and joined ISK after recognizing its potential. Some of her main interests include reading, films, and graphic design. As the director of the Outreach Division. She hopes that her contributions are able to expand the growth of the editorial and bring the interest of many.

Ethan doesn’t have any main passions or interests as of now. He became a part of ISK as an Outreach Director as it seemed like a great cause and he was interested in a variety of positions/opportunities.
